Though a very cliché song to choose, Someone Like You by Adele was the first song that made me realize what an impact music has on the world.  I heard it and for the first time I was no longer hearing just a tune and words but now I was hearing a message and a meaning.  This song inspired me to write and record my own music and to dig deeper to understand the message behind the music.
