Program Facilitator - The Awesome Music Hour, Stella’s Place Toronto
Part-time, contract

The Awesome Music Hour is a drop-in music-centred mental wellness program. Originally designed for youth, it has since been adapted to serve a wide range of audiences.

Running eight weeks in length with one session per week, each one-hour AMH session is a stand-alone experience that does not require previous attendance to participate. It is accessible to a wide audience and participants do not need to have musical talent to engage with the programming.

The goal of the Awesome Music Hour is to use music and the connection to it to open conversations about mental wellness and mental health. It also provides tips and tools for better integrating music into a personal mental wellness routine to help better manage stress, anxiety, and depression.
